Beat the Christmas rush with TfL's click and collect toolkit
With parcels piling up as Christmas gets closer, Transport for London have created a business toolkit to encourage employees to use click and collect services rather than have their festive goodies delivered to work.
Research has shown that 65% of deliveries to businesses are personal items and that these increase by nearly a third in the lead up to Christmas.
These additional deliveries have a negative impact on congestion and pollution in our town centres.
That’s why it’s a good time of year to change how employees think about their personal deliveries, reducing the amount of parcels in the post room – saving you time and money and reducing your freight footprint.
TfL has created a business toolkit to help you do just that, offering easy, step-by-step guidance to implementing personal deliveries schemes in the workplace. There’s also guidance on consolidating your waste and re-timing deliveries. See tfl.gov.uk/efficientdeliveries for more info.
