Workshop to help devise Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle Freight Hub

HammersmithLondon BID will be hosting an Extended Transport Forum/ Freight Hub Workshop on Wednesday, November 7 as part of their work to improve air quality in the area.

Working with Hammersmith & Fulham Council, the BID aim to develop an ultra-low emission vehicle (ULEV) courier, freight and servicing hub to support the Hammersmith Low Emission Neighbourhood programme.

The freight hub will help reduce the number of delivery vehicles operating in Hammersmith by consolidating deliveries via a central facility into zero emission bikes and vans. This will subsequently improve air quality, reduce congestion and provide benefits to participating businesses and council departments.

HammersmithLondon and Hammersmith & Fulham Council want to design a freight hub solution that works best for its local member businesses and council employees.

A survey has been drafted and distributed to help facilitate this and can be filled out here. The feedback generated from the survey will ensure the content of the Freight Hub Workshop is relevant, informative and deals with any questions or concerns that may arise.

The invite-only workshop will be held in the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith between 9.30am – 12pm. Please email for more information.
