BID Project Argus June 2017

On Thursday 15th June, Project ARGUS was attended by businesses in the Hammersmith area. Project Argus is an initiative developed by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO). The meeting was three hours of audio simulations, followed by question and answer sessions delivered by members of the Counter Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSAs).

Project Argus is aimed at managers in areas responsible for creating and maintaining response plans; however the content was useful for all staff as in the event of a major incident anyone within the organisation may be responsible for actioning response plans. The points raised during the meeting and subsequent discussions helped attendees to develop effective response plans for their businesses.

If you feel that Project Argus would be beneficial to yourself or your staff, please book your place with ‘Eventbrite’ using this link. There is a limit of five people per organisation for each session.

Alternatively, sessions can be hosted at the location of your choice within the City of London. In a multi-tenanted building, a combined approach is the best way to plan and prepare for a major incident, and CTS advise this is considered when organising an in-house event.
